So Treendy!

Organised by Hong Kong Community College

Playing with the word “trendy” which means being fashionable and modern, we proposed “treendy” as a new angle to integrate the concepts of “tree” and “fashion,” marrying two totally different areas. In this exhibition, you will connect art and nature from a new perspective. Five sets of interesting “tree-fashion” will be showcased in the Organic Maze at k-farm, and we hope you will see trees afresh.

Hong Kong Community College

Established in 2001 under the auspices of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) is a self-financed post-secondary institution under the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE). HKCC offers Associate Degree (AD) and Higher Diploma (HD) programmes spanning the domains of arts, science, social sciences, business and the specialised areas of design and health studies for secondary school leavers. HKCC programmes are administered by the four Academic Divisions of CPCE. The CPCE Academic Registry also provides support and services to facilitate the offering of these programmes. HKCC aspires to become a leading self-financed community college in Hong Kong. In pursuing this objective, HKCC’s mission is to offer quality sub-degree programmes that meet the changing needs of our community and prepare graduates for pursuing further studies or career development. HKCC also endeavours to provide all-round development opportunities for students to equip them with creativity, active learning, critical thinking, self-confidence, a positive attitude and a sense of responsibility. Since its establishment, HKCC has helped over 36,600 of its graduates articulate into bachelor’s degree programmes.
