Skateboard Symposium

Organised by Walk DVRC

Skateboard Symposium will feature speakers from the US, France, and Hong Kong to share their insights into how skateboarding has become a cultural phenomenon. They will present how the sport has transformed their cities’ culture, community, and landscape. From skateboarders, architects, facilities managers, and sports advocates, the discussion will review the sport from new angles. Aside from the thrill and tricks, there are emotional, social, and physical benefits to skateboarding.

Walk DVRC Limited is an NGO that is a partner to the government, local retailers and the community in pedestrianisation and placemaking initiatives.
