Night at the Museum

Organised by KC100 Art Space

Welcome to the captivating world of children's literature and art at KC100 Art Space’s special exhibition – “Night at the Museum”, featuring the esteemed Bologna Children's Book Fair. In its 60th edition, this renowned event celebrates the creativity and imagination found within the pages of children's books. We are delighted to present a unique collaboration between two talented artists from Hong Kong, Chivas Leung and Joanne Liu, who have been recognized for their exceptional contributions to the field. Chivas Leung, recently received the prestigious Special Mention of the COMICS - YOUNG ADULT 2023 award at the Bologna Children's Book Fair with her remarkable book, "Night Night." Joining her is Joanne Liu, a recipient of the BOLOGNARAGAZZI AWARD in 2018 for Art - Architecture & Design (Special Mention) for her book "My Museum." Together, Chivas and Joanne will showcase their remarkable works, offering visitors a glimpse into their creative processes and the stories behind their award-winning books. Moreover, this exhibition serves as an opportunity to introduce the Bologna Children's Book Fair itself, a global platform that showcases the latest trends in children's literature. This exhibition is supported by Italian Cultural Institute Hong Kong and is part of Italia on Stage 2023.

KC100 Art Space

Since its official operation in 2016, KC100 Art Space has housed art pieces ranging from distinguished artists to up-and-coming ones. This one-of-a-kind spacious exhibition area effectively merge arts with the daily lives of the public. It has partnered with numerous organizations, from international to locals, governmental to NGO’s, to host multiple art and cultural exhibitions, with free admission to all visitors.

Originally setup with the vision of providing “a daily dose of art” to the community, KC100 Art Space has been established as a new landmark for art and cultural lovers from all over, paying visits to the traditionally rather industrial district in Kwai Chung.
