Materials Science For Sustainable Fashion Webinar

Organised by Walk DVRC

“Industry 4.0” has been undeniably a global trend. The fashion industry is evolving a lot in its part to improve its sustainability – fashion products continue to have better performance, appearance, and lower carbon footprint. In Hong Kong’s scene, from an athlete’s outfits to a regular t-shirt we can buy, a lot of materials are being reinvented by The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA), to provide better options for makers and consumers. Walk DVRC believes that comfort materials can allow you to walk more comfortably to work. It is important to choose suitable materials to make your daily walk more comfortable and durable.
In this webinar, Dr Gloria Yao, Director of project development at HKRITA, will share insights on the latest trend, materials on how to improve our fashion performance, as well as how we can make smarter decisions in choosing our daily fashion.
