JiuJik

"JiuJik" has been collaborating with dozens of partners since April to collectively weave over 100 pairs of cold gloves and 60 cold scarves. In November, we will continue to weave cold scarves. We sincerely invite Wan Chai residents and the general public to join us in organizing, learning, and creating woven items, as well as preparing winter warm textiles and distribution plans.

"JiuJik" is a regular weaving experiment initiated by four neighbors during a period of epidemic when they gathered for tea and conversation. They make use of the Hong Kong House Of Stories' closure on Wednesdays and the generous donation of existing wool from the community, combined with their decades of weaving experience. Everyone is welcome to join, regardless of skill level, and gradually create woven items together, starting from the basics.
