‘Uncovering the New in the Old’ Film Screening and Post-Screening Talk

New film brings back nostalgic feelings, while old films showcase new creativity. Jiksap will collaborate with Film Culture Centre to screen two local films, demonstrating the contrast between the old and new aspects of the city and leading the audience into different eras. The first film to be screened is ‘Aces Go Places III’, released in 1984. Through this classic movie, the audience can explore the public’s aspirations for modernisation and expectations for new developments at that time. A post-screening discussion will be held, where the backstage staff who participated in the production of ‘Aces Go Places III’ will personally narrate the production process and engage in a discussion with the audience about urban development and changes.
