‘Revamp and Reborn’ Workshop

Traditionally, furniture restoration predominantly centered around repairing and restoring items to their original condition. However, with material shortages and the loss of traditional techniques, the challenges of restoration have significantly increased. Therefore, we are seeking new possibilities for rejuvenation through different design approaches. This workshop, in collaboration with Fablab Tokwawan, aims to instruct participants in handling recycled waste plastics and their shaping techniques. Participants will also have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in furniture restoration or even the creation of entirely new objects. By amalgamating various elements, we infuse old items with a fresh lease of life, thereby highlighting the value and significance of sustainable design.
