mueis a 90s singer-songwriter who was born in Korea and grew up in Hong Kong from a young age, keen on producing Lo-Fi music from his bedroom. Through his laptop and guitar, mue finds music as his language and creates sounds which are emotionally complex and yet with a sense of sonic simplicity. He pursued his study in music at Berklee College of Music and The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. To explore the possibilities of his music, mue travelled around the world, including Sydney, Korea and Boston. For now, he is landing on where he grows - Hong Kong.

mue jokingly calls himself a “square presser” as he always plays with a guitar and a launchpad. Recently he wrote a new single “movies” to release his repressed emotions. In the music video, he revealed his true feelings by filming himself with a DV.
