Novalis Art Design Gallery is pleased to announce “Stillness”, a new photo exhibition by Italian artist Valentina Loffredo. Shot in September 2017, “Stillness” explores the healing process that leads us from a trauma back into life, in a visual-narrative sequence of eleven photographs. Through recurring symbolic elements and uncanny compositions, Loffredo draws a parallel between our life and a seascape and observes what happens after a sudden and unexpected storm.

We aim to bring the Milano Design Film Festival to the audience by screening about 6 selected inspirational films in our 450 square metre showroom located in the Ruttonjee Centre at Duddell Street, Central. Audience could enjoy films from all over the world related to design, fashion, architecture, sustainability art, technology and more in a comfortable setting of a “home theatre” by the Minotti 2018 furniture collection.
During the event opening night on 5th Dec 2018, Antonella Dedini and Silvia Robertazzi, the founders of MiCue Milano Design will talk more about the Architect Film Award (AFA) for the upcoming year that in collaboration with Fondazione dell’Ordine degli P.P.C della provincia di Milano (FOAM).
Being a supporter of Italian art and craftsmanship, we will be showcasing some of the collections by VENINI at our showroom. The collection is handcrafted by the Murano glass masters who can create extraordinary handmade art glasses and art lights. Some highlights will include “BLACK BELT” by Peter Marino, “WHERE ARE MY GLASSES?” by Ron Arad and “MURANA”, designed by Fabio Novembre.
